Strange Lines

One normal day in Iowa City, a large square mile of air was taken up by a blue and green UFO. A yellow rusted ladder reached for the snowy December ground, and many orange cones filed out of the UFO and down the ladder.

Then, they used their powers to create parallel blue and green lines. The lines went  from inside the forest to past the cones where they stopped. Finally, the cones left after gathering in the wood.
