From the artist:

Touching colour (digital) is a video put together withs cans of the colour layering I worked on an entire semester. These are letterpress printed layers of three shapes and colours in varying transparencies to create one-of-a-kind pieces of colour harmonies and disharmonies.

Poojana Prasanna is a book artist, graphic designer and illustrator from Bengaluru, India. Before moving to Iowa City to pursue an MFA in Book Arts, she completed her bachelor's in Visual Communication design in Bengaluru. She then worked at a not-for-profit publisher of picture books where she published her first book 'My Yellow Umbrella'. Her current work oscillates between fine-press-printing and DIY-alternative-publishing methods, often blending the two seamlessly. Much of what she makes — letterpress printed books, zines, prints, illustrations and digital design work — explores how type and image manifest across mediums and tools. Poojana publishes under the name of Fatface Press.
