Lisa K. Roberts is a poet, teacher, and arts organizer. She has taught literature and composition in Virginia, Hong Kong, Nevada, and Nebraska, and has worked as the Assistant Director of the Iowa Youth Writing Project at the University of Iowa. Today she serves as Director of Iowa City Poetry, a nonprofit arts organization. Her work has appeared in Plainsongs, The Untidy Season, Little Village, Backchannels Journal, and Prompt Press, and she has been a featured performer at Voice Box, Was the Word, NewBo PoJam, and Poetry in Motion.
Arman Hodasefat is a filmmaker originally from Iran whose work blends intimate character studies with bold visual storytelling. He has directed several narrative films including Golden Hour, Home No Return, Mammoth, and his ballet-inspired short Harmony. Passionate about working closely with actors, he approaches performance as a collaborative and exploratory process, often drawing on cross-disciplinary methods that merge cinema, movement, and theatrical practice. He works across both independent and industry-level projects. He received his MFA in Film and Video Production from the University of Iowa in 2025.
