Cutting the Wings Off

My father wants to make a living shooting stingrays with a bow and arrow. He watches Youtube videos and does calisthenics in the back yard. He flies all around, especially his fingers. When he returns, he will have lines of dried salt on his arms and chest. My mother will sauté the skate and I will sell the buttery chunks at my roadside stand. It will be called “ghosts for sale.”
